See the top contenders of the sport in Ontario rope, ride and run over three rounds of gruelling competition in efforts to win Finale and Provincial awards and prizes.

The OFR is scheduled for March 22nd through 24th, at Ancaster Fairgrounds in Jerseyville, Ontario.  This indoor facility hosts a number of equine competitions among other functions and the Ontario Rodeo Association is excited to showcase the sport of Rodeo for the first time indoors at the recently built Show Arena.

"It's exciting," said ORA President and Ontario Finals Rodeo Announcer Joe Scully, "We (the Board) spent a lot of time and effort finding a date and location that would work for our competitors, spectators, sponsors, fans and rodeo family.  With the March date, it will give us enough time to generate the groundwork required to host, produce and showcase a successful finale in this 'new venue', but what is most exciting is that this year's finals will be staged less than 8 kilometres from where we got our start!"

The OFR will additionally include a Kids' Rodeo, "Meet and Greet" sessions, food and merchandise vendors and much more!

The Ontario Rodeo Association was formed in 1957 at the Bar 11 Ranch on the outskirts of Dundas, Ontario.  Each year, the top-seven in each event-discipline of Bareback Bronc Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Tiedown Roping, Team Roping (Headers and Heelers), Barrel Racing, Breakaway and Steer Wrestling, plus top-five in the event-disciplines of Junior Barrel Racing and Junior Steer Riding at the conclusion of the regular season compete at the Ontario Finals Rodeo for additional awards, prizes and titles.  Buckles are presented to both the Provincial Finals Champion and the Provincial Year-end Champion, plus Top-Point Earners in multiple disciplines are awarded All-Around Titles and Awards.
