Ross and Lacey Buck and Doe LogoIf membership cards were flashed upon entry to the Fergus Legion for Ross Scully and Lacey Beer's Buck and Doe in March of 2011, you'd think you were at a horse show like Quarterama as opposed to a wedding fundraiser. Ropers, Steer Wrestlers, Bull Riders, Barrel Racers, Jumpers, "Jiggy-Joggers", Hackney Trainers and the like, made their way into the carnival-esque atmosphere for the party.

Deep inside the Legion, the wedding party had arranged a midway of games and entertainment. The Crown and Anchor Wheel spun non-stop. The Black Jack table had line-ups. There was Boxing and Bull Riding powered by a Nintendo Wii System projected onto a big wall. There was speed-timed Table-top Roping. There was heavy traffic through the Silent Auction, and there was non-stop hammering and hollering around the "Extreme Whack-Off a-la 2 Head" (hammers, nails, wood and racing).

There was non-stop entertainment, fun, and WINNING!

Thanks to everyone that ventured to Fergus to celebrate the upcoming wedding. Also, thanks to the Wedding Party and Families for assisting with the overall production and execution of the event. And a huge thank-you to the Sponsors...those that donated items for the Silent Auction and prizing for the Midway. Shout outs to D&R Contracting for the Movie Passes, Tim Horton's and Keg Certificates, Carousels in Time for the La Senza Gift Certificates and the LCBO Cards, and Nuco Inc. for the LCBO Cards as well (well over $700 in prizing made the gaming intense!)
